IRCEP presented a session at the International Network for Quality Assurance Agencies in Higher Education (INQAAHE) 2017 Conference in Bahrain discussing the global perspective of the counselling profession and how culture plays an important role in preparing counsellors. The presentation addressed the current challenges within the profession, within the changing landscape of higher education, and how IRCEP can serve as one example of a response to globalization of the counselling profession. The presenters discussed the importance of an international network and its role in cross-border education.
