IRCEP facilitated a 2-hour workshop at the Southern African Association for Counselling and Development in Higher Education on September 12-14, 2016 to discuss the role that quality assurance plays in counsellor preparation and ways to promote excellence and best practice within the profession. The hands-on workshop addressed the process of preparing to write an IRCEP self-study, including strategies for critical evaluation of program curriculum and training and for working with administration and faculty.
